FAQ

Are reservations required?

Reservations aren’t required, but they are highly recommended! We don’t take a deposit and it will save you 10% off the regular rate.

During peak times (typically Christmas Break and Spring Break) we run short on equipment. A reservation during these times will guarantee equipment.

We have a group coming. How should we book our reservation?

We prefer you book your reservation in the way you will be paying. For example, if there are 5 families of 4 (20 people total) and the families are paying separately, have each family book a separate reservation. It can be time consuming to split payment. We want to make it as quick as possible for you!

What is your cancellation policy?

We request that you provide us 24-hour notice so that we can get the equipment to someone else. You can cancel by calling or using your online account. We don’t take a deposit, so there’s no risk of losing a deposit.

When can we pick up equipment the day prior to our first ski day?

We allow pickups starting at 2 pm for the following day.

During Christmas Break and Spring Break, we start allowing pickups as soon as we have setup all reservations for people skiing that day. You can call the store during these times to find out when you can come. Typically, it is around noon or 1 pm.

When is equipment due back?

You can return equipment prior to close or before 10 am the following morning. If returned prior to 10 am, no additional charge is incurred.

All locations are open 7:30 am – 6 pm every day during the ski season.

What happens if we return early or want to keep equipment longer?

We do things a bit differently and don’t charge anything until equipment is returned. If you return early, we take off the extra day(s) and charge you for the days you had the equipment.

If you want to extend your reservation, you can just keep the equipment. If it is more than a day or two, we may call to confirm you still have the equipment or you can call us.

The above things are true if it’s just a single person in a group extending or returning early.

Do you offer bootfitting?

Yes! We believe that getting in a boot with a great fit is the place to start for your setup. This is true for both skiing and snowboarding. We have bootfitters at all locations!

Our bootfitting is led by Charlie Bradley, who has been fitting boots for over 30 years. He is one of the best-known bootfitters in the entire country. He is a senior instructor with Masterfit University and has taught bootfitting in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

What is your return policy?

We aim to get you in the right equipment the first time. However, if you are unhappy with a purchase, please talk with us. We will want to understand why you don’t like the purchase to ensure we do a better job matching you with the right product.

Generally, within 30 days we will offer a full refund or exchange. Discounted items or used equipment is not eligible for return.

Is there any discount on mounting bindings with purchase?

For skis and snowboards, if you purchase any piece of new equipment (boot, binding or ski/board), we will mount the bindings for free! Of course, we would prefer to sell you all 3 items, but understand if you already have some equipment that works for you.

Do you guarantee the fit of your boots?

Yes, with purchase of a new boot and custom footbed from us, we guarantee the fit for 2 years! This includes any necessary liner and shell modifications to ensure you have the best fit.

What services do you offer?

We are a full-service shop. We can do any type of repair and mount most binding, including telemark and cross country. Some services may require specific personnel, but most things can be completed by multiple technicians.

You can check out our services here Services.

What’s your turnaround time?

For most services, we will have your equipment ready by 5 pm the day after you drop it off. There are a few exceptions, which we would communicate with you when you drop off your equipment or you can call ahead to confirm. Some examples where we would need 2-3 days include edge repair/replacement and core shot repair (epoxy or base patch).

What if I purchase equipment from you?

For skis and snowboards, if you purchase any piece of new equipment (boot, binding or ski/board), we will mount the bindings for free!
